ulladulla harbour

A great way to discover the secrets of Mollymook & Ulladulla is on foot.  Try starting at Ulladulla’s picturesque harbour home to the region’s busy fishing fleet. From either headland simply plot your course as you look out over the coastline.  Many of the beach walks skirt pristine lakes & lagoons offering walkers spectacular scenery & delightful encounters with native birds.

Aboriginal families once camped on the northern headland of the harbour where there is now a unique cultural trail – One Track for All – depicting local Indigenous & European history from an Aboriginal perspective by way of wood-carvings, paintings & sculptures.  The trail takes in four lookouts providing sweeping views of the coast & harbour.

Explore the southern headland along the Coomee Nulunga Cultural Trail.  See hand-painted dream posts as you weave through banksias & casuarinas to the remote beach below. There lays a rock platform where you can search for fossils at low tide. The lookouts near Ulladulla Lighthouse are prime vantage points for sighting whales during their annual migration.
